About Rick's Wheels
Rick's Wheels is an auto paint shop in Syracuse, New York. It is listed at 6679 Moore Rd, Syracuse, NY 13211, which places it among the local businesses of Syracuse that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Body shops repair collision damage, dents, rust and paint, and most work directly with insurance companies: you can choose any shop, not only the insurer's preferred one, and the shop will write a supplement if hidden damage turns up. Paintless dent repair fixes hail and door dings without repainting. Detailing shops clean and protect interiors and paint, from a basic wash-and-wax to ceramic coatings and paint protection film. Car washes range from self-service bays to express tunnels with monthly memberships. Upholstery shops repair seats, headliners and convertible tops, and restoration shops bring classic and collector cars back to original or custom condition.

Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Syracuse is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Rickβs Wheels did a wonderful job with a Minibike project I am working on. They powder coated four, small parts (clutch cover, engine adapter plate & two piece gas tank bracket) for me. Joyce was able to help me color match a specific blue for the clutch cover. I also had two exhaust pieces that required a high heat finish. Rick explained that powder coating was not a good solution for high heat parts, but offered to media blast the parts and recommended a ceramic coating from local auto parts store. When I dropped my parts off, they were busy with their bread and butter (commercial truck rims) along with several race car frames. I figured it would be at least two weeks to fit my βsmall jobβ in, but was pleasantly surprised when just a week later, he called to tell me my project was ready. I would highly recommend Rickβs Wheels to anybody looking to have metal parts finished.

Had a bracket for my tractor powder coated. Good price and done when he said it would be. Good person to deal with and looks great! Highly recommend.

We had five pieces of classic, old, outdoor furniture: 4 chairs and 1 glider. They had multiple coats of peeling paint and several rusted spots. We had called several places in CNY to find someone to refinish them, because we liked them and felt they were worth saving. Joyce at Rick's Wheels was our contact person, and she was great. In addition, the work they did was absolutely stunning, restoring our pieces to like-new condition. (See pictures.) Their work was outstanding, their price was far below other bids we had gotten, and they also picked up and delivered the pieces (for a modest, extra fee). Furthermore, it only took them two weeks to do all the work! We couldn't be more pleased. They have our highest recommendation!
